Never. The grammar_spell module is the only AI-powered check, and it runs in confidential mode: no training on your data, no logging of bodies. The other nine modules are deterministic — pattern matching and rule evaluation, not machine learning.

Every warning is appealable inline. Users can override-with-justification or confirm. Tenant admins tune the per-tenant module config (accepted-domain list, custom PII patterns, VIP list, reply-all threshold) from the admin console.

Yes. Nine core outbound protections are free forever for teams up to 25 — no credit card, no time limit. AI grammar is included free for 90 days from signup; after that, core stays free and AI turns off unless you move to Team at $3 per user per month (billed annually). Free is built for teams up to 25; Team is for larger rollouts.

AI grammar (grammar_spell) is included free for 90 days from signup on Free. After 90 days it turns off unless you upgrade to Team ($3/user/month, billed annually), where AI grammar is included with no cutoff and no per-check metering. Grammar checking is confidential: no training on your data, no logging of bodies.

Free is built for teams up to 25. Team is the plan for larger rollouts — $3 per user per month, billed annually — with unlimited AI and admin comfort. Seat count is not a hard-enforced meter.

No. Mail Intelligence complements Microsoft’s email DLP — it doesn’t replace it. Business Basic/Standard usually don’t include Microsoft’s email DLP out of the box. We catch outbound send mistakes at compose-time in Outlook.
